Meet Badger Land Services

Don Juetten, a native of the picturesque region of Madison, Wisconsin, has always had a deep-seated connection with the great outdoors. Born and raised amidst the lush landscapes and rolling hills of the Badger State, Don developed a profound appreciation for nature and a passion for the mighty machinery that tames it.

From a young age, Don was drawn to the beauty and potential of the land that surrounded him. His childhood days were filled with exploration, hunting the woodlands, and hiking through the enchanting forests of Wisconsin. These experiences instilled in him a love for the natural world and a desire to protect and enhance its beauty.

Don's fascination with machinery became evident in his young adult years. He spent hours tinkering with cars, trucks, motorcycles, lawn mowers, and loaders; developing a deep knowledge of their mechanics and capabilities. His passion for these tools, especially skid loaders, grew alongside his love for the land, and he knew he wanted to combine these interests to make a meaningful impact.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in agriculture business management, Don was well-equipped to begin Evergreen Lawn Care. The business allowed him to not only nurture his love for the outdoors but also leverage his expertise to provide lawn, landscaping, and snow removal services to the Madison community from 1999 to 2013.

When the opportunity to sell Evergreen Lawn Care arose, Don and his family decided to pursue a new adventure outside the Twin Cities. Badgers at heart, they relocated to the River Falls, Wisconsin side of the border to pursue new career opportunities, continuing to apply their business acumen and love for the natural world in a new setting.

As Don has grown older, his inclination to establish connections and assist others has become more evident. He understands that numerous landowners and businesses in the area encountered difficulties in effectively managing and maximizing their properties. He acknowledged the opportunity to utilize his knowledge of machinery and his deep affinity for nature to offer important services to the local community.

In pursuit of this vision, Badger Land Services was founded, a company dedicated to assisting individuals and businesses in making the most of their land. With a skilled family team and a fleet of powerful machines, along with years of experience, Badger Land Services offers a wide range of land management solutions.
